Product Description
A recess under the hex clinches a panel for a strong hold that won't push, pull, or twist out. Whenmounted with a lever press, the hex sits flush with the surface and the open end creates a throughhole. These are also known as captive standoffs.Stainless steel standoffs have good corrosionresistance and are nonmagnetic.
Standard and metric self clinching blind standoffs provide fast and trouble-free insertion through theutilization of any standard mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic press. Self clinch blind standoffseffectively eliminate the need for secondary operations such as drilling and tapping and are typicallyused in metal sheets with thicknesses of .040" and greater.
